2008 03 15 Conditions

Located north of Monument, a nice trail that loops around the Greenland Open Space. Used by runners, hikers, mtn bikes and equestrians. It a a gentle rolling trail with it trail head just off the Greenland exit for I25

The trail conditions today would be 2.5 on a 5 point scale. Much of the trail is soft and there is a lot of muddy sections. Between mile 4.5 and 5.5, the trail is mostly drifted snow. It was not that warm today so the snow was hard but as it warms, it will become slush and it is about knee deep if you were to break through the crust.
