Colorado Springs Trail Running

The trail from the parking lots / roadway of the office complex at Mark Dabling/I25 Area down to the pedestrian bridge has been torn up and work looks to be proceeding with a resurfacing of the trail. The trail was in pretty rough condition. Also it look like a drain will be installed just before the bridge where water was collecting. Detour signs will take you around the construction.

Went down this way on 2009 10 03 and noted that the construction is continuing. They have put in two small culverts to drain water and built up the grade a little. The width of the trails has been increased to what appears to me to be what the parks call Tier 1. I don't know if they will also use concrete here or asphalt. Tier 1 would be concrete with shoulders and since the trail on the other side of the bridge is concrete, my guess is that it is likely to be concrete.
