The trail from woodmen south was in good shape except for the small dirt section from the bridge to where the pavement starts. This was mud that stuck to the shoes and after a couple of steps felt like several pounds.
The pavement was wet but no snow in most areas. In some of the more sheltered areas such as just north of Garden of the Gods road, there was some light accumulation and this probably increased later as it cooled off and the snow continued.
Stopped just before Filmore but I expect that these conditions continued further south.
