Colorado Springs Trail Running

On my run the other day, I came across some construction on the trail. The site is just south of the I25 overpass bridge. There is about 100 yards of the trail blocked off and a gravel detour around it.

There is a lot of equipment and pipe stored up at the parking log just beyond that which may indicate that more extensive construction will be taking place in the near future.

The minor detour on the trail has been removed. Most of the equipment parked at Mark Dabling is gone but there is some extensive curb and parking lot work being done there.

The Shopping Center a bit further down the trail seems to have doubled almost over night. There is a large steel structure being erected near the trail and there has been some work done to landscape the trail shoulders. It is not having any impact on the trail itself.
