Cheyenne Mountain State Park is one of the newest of the Colorado State Parks and lies at the base of Cheyenne Mountain. From the looks of the area, a lot of time and money has been put into this park. There a a large number of trails mostly shorter but they can be linked together easily enough

I guess I should note that since this is a state park, there is an entrance fee for getting into the park. I just might have to get an annual pass in 2009 so I can explore more of the parks.
